dragged myself to the pool, swam and was flabbergasted with some of the so-called "swimmer". Some of them, (2 couples) hogged the whole two lanes not for swimming but for just talking and hugging....man and 5-6 people are left with another 3 lanes to swim. *rolled eyes*
since there is no running goals for the rest of the year...i came up with my new goals, to lose 10kg in 3 months!!!! so if i over-eat...please just go ahead and slap me !!

Took the day off to see my dentist, a long overdue business...the mouth pain, the heart pain cos the pocket bleed big time :(
5km run @ 7min pace, calf still sore and ankle felt weak.

went for a massage...the calf is so painful and the masseur is merciless....

TNF - 追夢雖然辛苦,起碼不痛苦
a BIG thank you to the support team (LT, Tiwazz, Charlotte, Loonz, Tekko and Mrs Tekko, one lady whom i do not know her name, Evangeline, Kelly). The real heros are the one who waited and endure with us and providing us the support. THANK YOU!
Thank you to the training partners who weeks after weeks pushed us nearer and nearer towards our goals and to the one who claimed he is not as crazy as us (when he is in fact crazier than any one of us), thank you for the training plan and "suffering" with us when he didnt even have to.
Thanks to my partner for the good pace and patience during the race :).
Ran both TNF, i enjoyed the race much better this year in spite of the tougher route. All the trainings helped physically and mentally, much more prepared than last year and was able to run more strategically, learning to conserve energy and plan the timing. But one thing needs to improve is the re-fuelling, drank too much and worse too much "cocktail" of 100 plus, barley, coke and hydrolite combined with hammergel, snickers.....the end results => LS haha.
Luckily, still managed to come back under 7hr 30 mins. Shaved off 39 mins from my last year's timing....this is a revenge run..to come back and complete unfinished business.
Finally, 2 unfinished business from last year completed this year, felt a sense of relief yet lost at the same time. What is next? for now, i wont think about signing up for another trail race or any race for that matter...at least till next Monday when i am fully recover mentally and physically....now i am just gonna relax and chill out and sleep late.

lately been experiencing insomnia, dunno why just refused to sleep, work is quite stressful lately, i dare not even sleep for fear of waking up late for meeting the next day...kinda make me regret not leaving when i have the chance...but no point crying over split milk.

28km in 4:30 mins..didnt feel as cui as last week, felt much better during the run. guess sleep is much more important than carbo loading..must make sure to get a good night sleep the whole week leading the race day.
